Upholstery Workshops

Are you interested in learning professional upholstery techniques? Do you have an unfinished project in your basement, waiting for your renewed inspiration? Artisan Upholstery Workshops give you the opportunity to complete that project with professional guidance and tools. You’ll be proud to say you did it yourself!

These are hands-on, day-long workshops. Beginners are able to bring and upholster a small side chair or footstool. More experienced students will bring a more complicated small project to work on. You will have use of a pneumatic stapler, proper upholstery hand tools and safety equipment. Materials are provided, with the exception of fabric. If required, foam is available at an additional cost. I encourage you to bring a pen and notebook to jot down all the useful information discussed.

    1. Hi Nancy,
Thank you for your interest! I have just filled two workshops for March, but will offer more in April. If you “like” my Facebook page or follow me on this site, you will be able to see the posts when they come up again.

  1. I don’t do Facebook so I hope I’ll get your updates on the email address that I sent you. If not, I have bookmarked your web page and I will check it periodically. I would appreciate it if you could put my name & my sister’s name on the next available class. My name is Nancy & my sister’s name is Trish. If you need more info than this, let me know. Thanks.

    1. Hi Nancy,
I will be setting a date for April, and will tentatively put you and your sister down for the first two spots. Once I set the date, I will contact you to see if you are still interested. The workshop would be the same as the first two. You can read that information on this site.
      Thank you for your interest!
