These are the current pieces up for sale and not yet upholstered. I only collect quality vintage and antique furniture. They are shown with the fabric that they will be upholstered in. Contact me if you are interested in purchasing any of these items. A 50% deposit is required.
Due to high demand (many thanks!) I’ll now have to add any purchased items to the regular queue of projects. Booking about 6 months out.
This vintage loveseat is a very unique shape. Curved arms, front edge and back make it the ideal centerpiece for your living room. The body will be upholstered in this elegant silver spotty fabric, while the seat cushions and back will be upholstered in this coordinating soft off-white chenille. Style changes include skirt removal and simplifying the back (no diamond tufting). $1350 plus HST
This perfectly original sofa has a sleek design. The style changes will be biscuit tufting (square) rather than diamonds. I’ve selected a warm textured fabric that is durable and will look fantastic with the style. The photos show a close-up of the fabric chosen. The sofa is 7 1/2 feet long. Sold
This boxy swivel rocker is really roomy and comfortable. It will be updated in a mix of blue velvets. SOLD
This sofa set was purchased in Toronto in the 60s. It’s been well-kept by one owner, but definitely needs a new outfit. I’ve chosen this textured nubby fabric for the sofa, which compliments its matching chair mate. Updates will be legs to replace the castors. Measures 8 feet long x 34” deep x 30” high. Sold
This chair is in great shape and very comfortable. The fabric is ribbed velvet, in blue. Measures 38” wide x 34” deep x 30” high. Again, price is for the set. Not sold separately.
This sofa is 7 1/2 feet long. It was built in 1963 and has the original fabric. Hardwood frame in its entirety, no-sag seat spring construction, and springs in the back. Minor changes will include updating to three seat cushions. The fabric is a purple tweed-like nubby fabric that is durable and easy to live with. (Seen here on my own sofa, and I love it. Not too bright, but still very cheerful). Sold.
This sweet chair is quality to it’s core. It will be dressed in this soft nubby chenille. The diamond detail in the back will not remain. Sold
This vintage sofa has some great details. The front edge is curved and the arms are nicely angled as well. The back cushions are removeable for making forts with your kids. All cushions have zippers for easy laundering. The skirt will be removed. This durable, textured fabric will update this quality sofa. Measures 86” long x 36” total depth x 29” high. Sold
